FANTASY FOOTBALL WEEK 9 WAIVER WIRE PICK UPS(10/30/23)
Taysom Hill should be added at T.E. from the N.O. Saints if he's still available in your league, as well as Trey McBride T.E. for the Az. Cardinals. We're assuming that Dalton Kincaid of the Buf. Bills and Logan Thomas of the Wash. Commanders have already been poached from your wire in the last couple of weeks. Jake Ferguson of the Dal. Cowboys and Austin Hooper of the L.V. Raiders are other options that you may find still lingering for a pluck.
Kirk Cousins is out for the season now with an Achilles as is Matthew Stafford with a thumb injury, so Will Levis of the Tenn. Titans will be the most popular pick up after having thrown for 4 TDs in his debut, however we can't be sure how long his tenure will be with a potential Ryan Tannehill return from an ankle injury in the next couple of weeks. Derek Carr of the N.O. Saints is still somehow available in way too many leagues and would be the safer long term pick up. Sam Howell of the Wash. Commanders may still be out there for you as a good replacement and Gardner Minshsew of the Ind. Colts would be a riskier pick up that could pay off.
Gus Edwards of the Balt. Ravens will be the hot add at RB this week after back to back good weeks, followed by Javonte Williams of the Den. Broncos if he's available. Zack Moss of the Ind. Colts continues to be relevant to fantasy coaches surprise, while Cam Akers of the Minn. Vikings and Zach Charbonnet of the Sea. Seahawks are getting increasing usage by the week.
Pick up the Jax. Jaguars D, the K.C. D, or te Den. Broncos D if they're available.
WR Demario Douglas of the N.E. Patriots may see a very increased roll with Kendrick Bourne out for the season now, while most will be going after Rasheed Shaheed of the N.O. Saints will be the top pick up at WR, but his big day came on only 3 targets and I wouldn't trust that to continue with any consistency. Josh Downs of the Colts may incredibly still be out there and should be the top WR pick up if so. Also you can scoop Rashee Rice of the K.C. Chiefs if he's still lingering around. Johan Dotson flashed, but has had very little consistency this season.
